F&M Trust is pleased to announce the following recent hires and promotions:

headshot of Caroline MooreCaroline Moore was recently promoted to assistant community office manager for F&M Trust’s Carlisle Crossing Community Office. In her new role, Moore is responsible for overseeing routine operations to meet the goals of the community office while also motivating and supporting staff.

Headshot of Joy MathnaJoy Mathna was hired as assistant community office manager for F&M Trust’s Mechanicsburg and Camp Hill offices. In her new position, Mathna is responsible for servicing the financial needs of F&M Trust customers, growing and deepening the bank’s customer and community relationships and leading the teams at the bank’s Mechanicsburg and Camp Hill Offices. She previously worked as a relationship banker for M&T Bank. In her free time, the Shermansdale resident volunteers for Junior Achievement, Cub Scouts, the White Oak Fire Department and various sports leagues.

headshot of Amy HerroldAmy Herrold, F&M Trust’s controller, was recently promoted to vice president. Herrold joined F&M Trust in 1989 and worked as a teller, staff accountant and assistant controller before being promoted to controller in 2010.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Shippensburg University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Wilson College. Active in her community, Herrold serves as treasurer for both Franklin County Legal Services and Friends of Legal Services. She also volunteers with Diaper Depot at Central Presbyterian Church.

The Chambersburg resident is based in F&M Trust’s corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.

Headshot of Pamela HopperPamela Hopper has been hired as a mortgage loan officer for F&M Trust. In her new position, Hopper is responsible for developing and managing a mortgage portfolio and pursuing new mortgage opportunities from current and prospective customers, home builders and realtors, among other duties.

She previously worked as a mortgage loan originator for Orrstown Bank. The Carlisle resident holds a bachelor’s degree from Hood College.

She is based in F&M Trust’s Camp Hill office.

headshot of Kenneth BrookensKen Brookens was hired as a commercial loan review officer for F&M Trust. In his new position, Brookens reviews F&M Trust’s commercial loan portfolio for creditworthiness. He also ensures the bank’s commercial loans conform to established bank lending policies and procedures and to relevant state and federal laws and regulations, among other responsibilities.

He previously worked as an assistant branch manager at Patriot Federal Credit Union. The Scotland resident holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as various certifications from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association.

Brookens is based in F&M Trust’s corporate headquarter in Chambersburg.
