F&M Trust is pleased to announce the following recent hires and promotions: 

headshot of Ken BurkholderKen Burkholder has been hired as a Mortgage Loan Officer in the Camp Hill office.

In his new position, Burkholder will develop and manage a mortgage portfolio and pursue new mortgage opportunities from current and prospective customers, home builders and realtors.

The Mechanicsburg native previously worked as a mortgage loan originator for First National Bank of Pennsylvania.

Burkholder has served on several committees at his church and coached youth baseball and basketball.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, playing golf, and attending Penn State football games.

Headshot of Chris MooreChris Moore has been hired as Retirement Plan Sales Relationship Manager.

He previously worked as a retirement plan sales representative for Paychex.

In his new position, he is responsible for actively developing and contributing to the growth of new business clientele for Retirement Plan Services (401k), ESOP, pension, profit sharing, and Executive IRA solutions.

Moore is the head coach for the Penn State Harrisburg ice hockey team. He enjoys attending sporting events and concerts and traveling to the Outer Banks with his family.

The Camp Hill resident is based at F&M Trust’s regional office in Harrisburg.


headshot of Sheryl PerkinsSheryl Perkins has been hired as a Mortgage Loan Officer in the Shippensburg office.

In her new position, Perkins will develop and manage a mortgage portfolio and pursue new mortgage opportunities from current and prospective customers, home builders and realtors.

She previously served as a senior mortgage loan officer for Fulton Mortgage Company/Fulton Bank, N.A., and is a graduate of the Central Atlantic School of Banking and Leadership Franklin County.

The Shippensburg resident has volunteered for United Way of the Shippensburg Area and served on the Shippensburg Area Chamber of Commerce membership committee.

She enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren, family, and friends, and traveling to the beach.

Headshot of Joel HufferJoel Huffer has been hired as Corporate Communications Officer.

Huffer previously served as director of marketing and communications for the American Jail Association.

In his new position, he will develop strategies to support F&M Trust’s internal and external communications objectives and develop and disseminate public relations materials that increase the bank’s visibility and brand awareness in the community.

Huffer enjoys hiking, biking, and running, and has completed and served as a volunteer for the JFK 50-Mile ultramarathon and Gary Brown 5-miler. He and his wife enjoy traveling, attending concerts, and playing trivia at local breweries.

The Williamsport, Md., resident is based at F&M Trust’s corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.

Promotions

  • Alicia Beecher has been promoted to Consumer Lending Manager in the Carlisle office.
  • Madonna Beverlin has been promoted to Residential Mortgage Processing Manager at F&M Trust’s corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.
  • Robin Murray has been promoted to Assistant Vice President of Investment and Trust Services at F&M Trust’s corporate headquarters in Chambersburg.
