Vice President - Regional Wealth Manager

Matthew Berger, CFP®, CTFA

In addition to co-leading a growing team of F&M Wealth Management professionals, Matthew puts 17+ years of financial experience to work for his clients, providing personal trust administration, power of attorney services, charitable trust work, asset management, as well as essential estate planning. When needed, clients also rely on Matthew for his skills in advanced planning and fiduciary services.

Matthew earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University, and the Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University. His accreditations include Series 7 & 66, CTFA, ATFA, and he is a Certified Financial Planner® -- working with business owners, individuals and families preparing for retirement or in need of estate planning services.

He continues to support the local community -- currently serving as vice president of Antietam Humane Society Inc., president of Waynesboro Country Club Inc., and member of the Trust Advisory Committee in PA Bankers Association. Recently, he had actively participated in leadership of Penn State Alumni Association of Franklin County, Cumberland Valley School of Music, and Shady Grove Ruritan.

When not at work, Matthew enjoys investing time with family at his Waynesboro home, plus golfing, hunting, and cheering on his favorite football teams -- Nittany Lions and Green Bay Packers. (But don't hold that NFL team choice against him.)
